SVARTHYMN was formed as a band back in 1999 by M. Höglund and J. Sjödin. In summer 2000 a rehearsal was recorded but never released. In May 2001 SVARTHYMN entered the Leprechaun Studio located in Örnsköldsvik to record the songs for the split release “In Blackest Ruin” with Armagedda. Shortly after this release SVARTHYMN returned to its primordial shadows.
